Looking back, I really did live in disgusting conditions.
I would walk around in my home and see dirt particles floating through the air, and I somehow thought that was normal. I noticed that my living conditions weren’t exactly clean, but I didn’t think they were that bad either. My friend who was a HVAC technician, pointed out how dirty my home really was. Without me asking, he went and started checking out my heating and cooling systems. I wasn’t really sure what he was doing, and after he got done with his inspection, he told me that I badly needed a new a/c filter, as well as maybe investing in an air purifier. I had a spare air conditioning filter, but I wasn’t really interested in an air cleaner. My HVAC professional friend told me that my house was probably one of the worst indoor air quality homes he has seen in awhile, that did make me think, but I was still not interested in a whole home air purifier. My HVAC friend had to go out and buy one, and then give me one before I decided to give a try. He actually installed it and everything, free of charge. It took a few hours, but I was amazed to no longer see dirt particles floating about, or weird smells, and that the air smelled clean, if that makes any sense. I actually found it strange at first, since I was so used to dirty air. My friend told me I could thank him later as I now enjoyed my new air purifier. Not only was my air now better, but I became sick less often.
