The time that I first started working as an Heating & A/C specialist, it felt love they offered myself and others the dirtiest tasks possible.
I suppose some of the tasks I got were because I was a man & they wanted to make sure a man could deal with anything that came up with an oil furnace, a/c, or even in the ventilation system.
I was also petite which meant that I could fit into areas that many of our other Heating & A/C specialists could not fit into. I was regularly having jokes pulled on me, which just made myself and others think I love a single of the guys, not that that was regularly an enjoyable thing. They thought it was funny when they made myself and others blush, so I tried to ignore them. Out of nowhere, one day, the owner of the supplier came into the office. He offered myself and others a skeptical look even though he continued on with his inspection. He talked to all of the Heating & A/C that had been there for a while, & then he talked to the newer Heating & A/C techs. He wanted to think if they were doing just fine and if anyone was giving them a hard time. He didn’t ask myself and others the question because he knew the answer. When he talked to me, he asked if I had heard the joke about the outdated Heating & A/C specialist? I was staying there & stared at him, not knowing if this was going to lead to more teasing. I shook my head as he smiled. He told myself and others that he knew how to get out of any rocky situation & still come up with a smile. I hugged him since my Mom regularly knew what to say when he realized I was in a bad mood.
