When I was a kid, I basically had to live without heating & cooling machines.
Having HVAC technology simply wasn’t an option for my parents. Every one of us were a poor family, & the cost & upkeep of having a heating system or a/c machine was more than what my parents were willing to spend. That didn’t stop us from getting ads from heating & cooling machine businesses! But my parents held back & it wasn’t until I was 18 & got my own place that I got my first HVAC machine. The difference was evening & day, & once I had an HVAC machine I couldn’t imagine going without one! I rented my first residence, & was proud to have a place to call my own. Unlike when I was a child, whenever I was too overheated or too cold, I could change the temperature inside with the turn of a dial on the temperature control unit. This new technology was truly amazing to me & I couldn’t easily believe that I had never known central heating & cooling until this point in my life. The residence had an amazing electric heating machine & the A/C was actually one of the newer more extravagant models. Even though it was my first residence, I had managed to snag a pretty nice beach residence for an enjoyable price. I soon was able to learn through research that having an HVAC machine also meant upkeep, but I wasn’t distraught about it. There was a heating machine & a/c company just right across the street from where I lived. So if something were to actually break down the HVAC specialist would be here in no time to service the heating machine or air conditioning unit.
