When people come over to stay with me, I’m usually amazed at how inconsiderate they tend to be, but i know that people prefer being guests in my home, although I don’t know that I prefer having them around really much.
In fact, I get really scheduled when my friends plus family are hanging around, and one of the things that’s always a point of contention is their insistence on using my heating, cooling, plus air quality control equipment when they’re staying at my locale.
I mean, by all means, my great friend and I should be comfortable when my great friend and I can manage to be. I set my thermostat carefully to have the best energy efficiency plus temperature settings for my home. However, they aren’t the people who have to call the local HVAC specialist for professional repairs plus maintenance jobs because of all the indoor air temperature control equipment changes, then whenever my guests leave, I have a large HVAC maintenance bill to toil out in the aftermath. I dislike paying out the nose for energy bills or HVAC expenses, although I also don’t want to make anyone feel unwanted in my home, at this point, I have an open door policy… but a locked thermostat rule.
