Jamie and Jaden have got their workweek down to about 15 hours and that is in the sweet spot for them.
They discovered long ago that a 15 hour workweek is possible and is also ideal for folks like them who enjoy playing music a lot.
They know some of their friends work 60 hours a week and have no time to do anything. But, that kind of life doesn’t suit Jamie and Jaden as they need ample down time for themselves. They have no kids, no car, and no condo so that is one reason they can work so little. Heating system repairs is what they do each week for the local business and after that they spend the rest of their time riding their bikes, playing drums and singing. Or, they just hang out with friends on the beach. The two friends are 56 and 54 years old now and they think that this path they have carved is going to be the same for the rest of their functional years. They know when they are 79 years old they won’t be Heating and Air Conditioning experts anymore and won’t be able to do much but scrub their boiler filter and stand around the house. Maybe they can still play the drums though and can do gigs in the clubs around the neighborhood once in a while to give them a jolt of energy. They don’t want to be just sitting in their flat all the time staring at their UV air purifier system, or listening to the sound of their Heating and Air Conditioning system running as they read the newspaper.
