When my kids went back to university after winter season break was over, the heating system was broken in the main building where most of the classrooms are.
It was funny because the only locale where the heating was laboring was out in the gym where everyone had to go for gym classes in the nights, however the kids came home from university & told me that they had put the entire university, all 6 grades of the elementary university, into the gym for the afternoon just because it was the only locale that was moderate enough for everyone! My kids said that once they got into the gym where it was warm, everyone started to get too moderate because of all of the body heat of the kids that were packed into the building, however eventually, the temperature in the gym ended up getting so moderate that some of the students started crying because they were so sweaty & they felt sick.
I was laughing about the whole mess because the board of education was supposed to have fixed the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system during the timeframe when the kids were out of university for their winter season break. It just never seems like they do what they are supposed to do & this is the kind of thing that regularly seems to happen. What a mess it all ended up being. They finally dismissed half of the kids out of the gym when they realized that the library’s heating system was also laboring. I feel they regret not getting the toil done when they were supposed to!
