I labor in a hospital and most afternoons I get in the office at 8:00 and I don’t leave until after 6:00.
I labor in the administration corporation and it’s up to me to make sure that the hospital has everything that it needs to operate efficiently and constantly. One of my jobs is to make sure that my superb friend and I trim expenses whenever possible. I took the job at the hospital because of the advanced lighting, HVAC, and smart plumbing features in the hospital. The location is really state of the art with features that make the location incredibly energy and ecologically efficient. One of my number one features in the hospital is the sensors. When you’re traveling through the hospital, sensors can option up movement and automatically adjust the lighting and temperatures. My friend and I don’t have to pay for high-priced lighting, heating, or A/C when there is no one in a particular area. The sensors automatically adjust temperatures and lighting according to movement. The system is extremely sophisticated and saves this hospital more than 3 million every single year, unfortunately, the software for the temperature and lighting sensors has to be updated once a year. I found out that the modern system software update for this wing of the building is going to take all day and it is tied up for next Monday. Monday is easily the busiest day of the week for me and I am not glad about working somewhere else for the day instead of in my office. I’ll be displaced and without all of my familiar files. I ‘m not looking forward to Monday one bit.
