No heat and dirty cups mean a new room or a new hotel

I do not recognize it is necessary to spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive hotel.

I only plan to sleep in that place, so why should I pay a lot of expensive fees for amenities that I’m not going to use. I could understand if I was going to live at the hotel and use the fitness center, pool, and spot every single afternoon… For a person that is going to check in at 6:00 or 7:00 at night and then check back out 12 hours later, it’s deranged to charge me $300 for amenities that I’m never going to see. I care about to spend as little as possible on a hotel as long as it has three stars. I try not to book a hotel that is lower than three stars, because I do not want a dirty place with bugs, but one sign that you need a new room or a new hotel is dirty cups. If the maid doesn’t wash the cups, you know she easily didn’t wash the toilet or the tub, however another sign that you need a new room is no heat. If the heating or the cooling system doesn’t work, change rooms. If the staff tells you they are going to fix the heating or cooling system problem, they are not telling you the truth. I’ve had a hundred odd troubles with heating and cooling systems in hotel rooms and I have never had a single person fix a problem while I was still in the room. I try to avoid all of the places where I have had troubles, however that still leaves a couple of cheap places in the city.
