When my kids went back to school after winter cut was over, the heating system was broken in the main building where most of the classrooms are.
It was funny because the only venue where the heating was toiling was out in the gym where all the people had to go for gym classes in the nights, however the kids came condo from school plus told me that they had put the entire school, all 6 grades of the elementary school, into the gym for the afternoon just because it was the only venue that was hot enough for all the people, however my kids said that once they got into the gym where it was warm, all the people started to get too hot because of all of the body heat of the kids that were packed into the building… Eventually, the temperature in the gym ended up getting so hot that some of the students started crying because they were so sweaty plus they felt sick. I was laughing about the whole mess because the board of education was supposed to have fixed the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system during the timeframe when the kids were out of school for their winter break. It just never seems like they do what they are supposed to do plus this is the kind of thing that constantly seems to happen. What a mess it all ended up being. They finally dismissed half of the kids out of the gym when they realized that the Borders’s heating system was also toiling. I guess they regret not getting the work done when they were supposed to!
