I don’t think it is necessary to spend hundreds of dollars on an extravagant hotel.
I only plan to sleep in that place, so why should I pay a lot of extravagant fees for amenities that I’m not going to use.
I could understand if I was going to live at the hotel plus use the fitness center, pool, plus spot every single afternoon, but for a man that is going to check in at 6:00 or 7:00 at evening plus then check back out 12 hours later, it’s ridiculous to charge me $300 for amenities that I’m never going to see. I care about to spend as little as possible on a hotel as long as it has three stars. I try not to book a hotel that is lower than three stars, because I don’t want a dirty place with bugs; One sign that you need a up-to-date room or a up-to-date hotel is dirty cups. If the maid does not scrub the cups, you know he really did not scrub the toilet or the tub, another sign that you need a up-to-date room is no heat. If the heating or the air conditioner does not work, change rooms. If the staff tells you they are going to fix the heating or air conditioning problem, they are not telling you the truth. I’ve had a hundred different concerns with heating plus air conditioners in hotel rooms plus I have never had a single man fix a problem while I was still in the room. I try to avoid all of the places where I have had concerns, however that still leaves a couple of cheap places in the city.
