In my opinion, the truly best type of heating system is radiant heated flooring.
There is no comparison to the benefits gave by this particular innovation, but while there are electric mats that can be retrofitted quite entirely into an existing home, I would like a hydronic system, it starts with a boiler that heats up water & pumps it through a series of pipes concealed under the floor.
Utilizing water rather than air to transfer heat energy ensures quiet operation, eliminates energy waste & provides a more gentle form of comfort, but because the pipes create a closed loop, using the same water over & over, there is no chance for contaminants to enter the system. Boilers are often recommended for people who suffer asthma, allergies & respiratory infections because of the cleanliness. The heat from the pipes spreads evenly across the surface of the floor. There are no frigid spots in the corners & no drafts! Everything kneeling on the floor, such as tables & chairs, are warmed up & help to further radiate heat. The temperature from floor to ceiling never varies more than three degrees from the thermostat setting. The equipment takes up no residing space & doesn’t require furniture to be arranged to accommodate it. It doesn’t create an eyeahore or make any noise! Plus, radiant floor allows for the self-explanatory set up of zone control! A thermostat in each room provides independent temperature control. This caters to room occupancy, requirements & preferences & helps to trim running costs! Radiant flooring is lovelyly energy efficient & saves cash on monthly energy costs.
