I don’t think it is necessary to spend hundreds of dollars on an high-priced hotel. I only plan to sleep in that location, so why should I pay a lot of high-priced fees for amenities that I am not going to use. I could understand if I was going to live at the hotel and use the fitness center, pool, and spot every single day. For a lady that is going to check in at 6:00 or 7:00 at night and then check back out 12 hours later, it’s crazy to charge me $300 for amenities that I am never going to see. I enjoy to spend as little as possible on a hotel as long as it has three stars. I try not to book a hotel that is lower than three stars, because I don’t want a dirty location with bugs… One sign that you need a modern room or a modern hotel is dirty cups. If the maid does not wipe the cups, you know she easily did not wipe the toilet or the tub. Another sign that you need a modern room is no heat. If the heating or the A/C unit does not work, change rooms. If the staff tells you they are going to fix the heating or A/C problem, they are not telling you the truth. I’ve had a hundred unusual problems with heating and A/C units in hotel rooms and I have never had a single lady fix a concern while I was still in the room. I try to avoid all of the locations where I have had problems, but that still leaves a couple of cheap locations in the city.
