We were about to enter one of the most extended weekends of the year.
It would be a five-day weekend because of two holidays.
I was looking forward to having a relaxing weekend with my friends. They would be coming over to my house for the entire weekend. It was winter, so there was not much to do outside apart from dinner and maybe a lunch here and there. One of my friends is a chef, so we were not so worried about having excellent food while they stayed. I did not want anything to go wrong, so I had the heating technicians from the heating company run quality heating maintenance on the furnace. The tune-up was a good idea because the HVAC professionals conducted serious heating repairs after discovering several worn-out components that made the heating device inefficient. The specialists commended me on maintaining the excellent condition of the heating equipment since the HVAC installation three years ago. I also requested them to refill the gas in the gas fireplace so we would use it for that weekend and winter. I upgraded the thermostat to a digital one to help me better operate the electric heater. I also had the heating dealership deliver a dozen air filters through their heating dealer. When my friends came over, it was snowing outside, but the quality of comfort inside the house was splendid. We had the best weekend, and the convenience of the heating system improved everything. Some of my friends asked for contacts of my HVAC tech when they saw how well my system functioned. He managed to snag several referrals.
