Due to our work commitments, it’s been a while since we have seen our friend Laura. At the moment, we only have time for us and our kids. It’s been a few months and we know she was on getaway and she is busy with her Heating & A/C company. Still, it’s been forever. We recently planned a day out on the boat with Laura and our kid is going to spend some time with our parents. We just hope Laura doesn’t have an emergency with the Heating & A/C company because that will throw a wrench in our plans. We miss the lady and we have been texting on and off, but seeing her would be really nice. We are sure she feels the same way though. We think this Thursday will be a day of bringing the fishing poles, listening to some 80s rock and just catching up. Nothing really too big because at our age we just want relaxation, especially since we all work a ton. Last time we opted to go fishing Laura had a little too much to drink and some of her employees from the Heating & A/C company needed her assistance with an oil furnace issue. Laura tried her best to explain it to her employees, but things didn’t really work well since she was a little gone. Lucky for her, she has the respect of her employees and the businesses she works for and that didn’t cause any concerns with future replacements. We are planning on getting on the boat around 11 am and hitting the open water around noon. All of us are looking forward to this week’s adventure.
