I was aggravated with my boss last week, because he promised to make me the lead specialist, and the owner of the Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor where I labor was supposed to give me a promotion plus a raise, even though he gave it to his child instead, and i was supposed to become the next lead specialist, plus it isn’thonorablethat the guy got the job just because he is related to the boss. I tried to complain plus I told my boss that I was unhappy. I even threatened to quit my job, even though he didn’t seem to mind. The next afternoon I took my resignation letter to the office plus I didn’t even bother to give the owner of the SUV A/C contractor two weeks’ notice. I truthfully didn’t know he deserved 2 weeks notice after promising to give me the job plus going back on that promise. I went to one of the competing Heating plus Air Conditioning companies as soon as I quit my job. I thought it would be particularly straight-forward to find a job anywhere else plus I was right. I actually found a job working at a competing Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor for the same rate that I was making plus I found a job working at a commercial plus residential Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor making $2 extra. The job required me to commute 40 minutes, so I decided to take the job making the same amount of currency, then at least I would have some respect from the people around me instead of getting stomped on like I did at the other place.
