I was helping a buyer with a boiler repair & left a couple of the parts back at the shop.
I was about 40 minutes away from the office, even though I had to leave & travel all the way back to the building to get the right parts for the boiler repair.
I was angry & ticked off at myself when I realized that I was going to be late for the afternoon appointment. I finished with the boiler repair around 1:00 p.m. & I contacted the next buyer to let her know that I was on the way… She called me because the gas boiler was not laboring & I thought that the issue was absolutely some type of gas line problem, and when I arrived at the customer’s address, she was not home. I had to wait 30 minutes. I talked to her at 1:00 to let her know I was on the way & it was only about 30 minutes later. I don’t know why she did not just tell me that she wasn’t condo yet. I would have stopped for dinner & gotten a bite to eat instead of rushing around to get there & wait for her to show up! Of course, I did not show any aggravation to the customer, because her satisfaction is our guarantee. At the end of the day, I was wiped out & ready to relax & go to sleep. I did not want to go out with my friends even though my friend and I were supposed to go to the shooting range & have some beers. I decided to stay condo & go to bed early instead.
