I have l received that females must toil twice as hard and be twice as smart to survive in the corporate world, especially in a market like the heating and A/C industry, however that has been my experience in the 8 years I have worked in this industry as a heating and A/C professional.
Even though I know a lot more about heating and A/C replacements than most men, I still get a few professionals treating me like a newcomer. I started my heating and A/C company when I was twenty-nine. I had completed university and was looking for where my air skills would be used efficiently. I finally found a heating and A/C provider who hired me. Five years later, I quit due to some issues. After I left university, my dad called me one day and challenged me to begin my small company instead of waiting to be employed! He jump-started my work by introducing me to some of his friends who had issues with their quality heating and A/C. He gave me the job of helping the friends find out what was wrong with their heating and A/C units, and he would ask a cooling specialist he knew to allow me to shadow in the a/c repairs. I did this for numerous months before my friends started trusting me to method their heating and A/C repair. Through this, I finally found the supplier that employed me until I quit. Even in my own corporation, I find time for consultation with homeowners. Some want advice on heating and A/C brands, while others want to find out which new heating and A/C technology they can incorporate into their home. I like seeing the excitement on their face when they purchase new heating and A/C equipment. My prior consultation was with a young lady that wanted the latest thermostat to help with indoor comfort, and working as a heating and A/C repairman is genuinely fulfilling.
