I have learned that females must work twice as difficult and be twice as smart to survive in the corporate world, especially in a market like the heating and air conditioning industry, but that has been our experience in the many years I have worked in this industry as a heating and air conditioning professional. Even though I think a lot more about heating and air conditioning upgrades than most men, I still get a few professionals treating me like a newcomer, but I started our heating and air conditioning supplier when I was twenty-nine. I had completed university and was looking for where our air skills would be used efficiently. I finally found a heating and air conditioning provider who hired me. Five years later, I quit due to some complications. After I left university, my mom called me one day and challenged me to start my own small business instead of waiting to be employed. She jump-started my career by introducing me to some of her friends who had complications with their quality heating and air conditioning. She gave me the job of helping the friends find out what was wrong with their heating and air conditioning units, and she would ask a cooling specialist she knew to allow me to shadow in the A/C repairs. I did this for more than five months before my friends started trusting me to plan their heating and air conditioning service. Through this, I finally found the supplier that employed me until I quit. Even in my own business, I find time for consultation with homeowners, and some want advice on heating and air conditioning brands, while others want to find out which new heating and air conditioning technology they can incorporate into their home. I like seeing the excitement on their faces when they purchase up-to-date heating and air conditioning equipment. My prior consultation was with a young lady that wanted the latest control device to help with indoor comfort. Working as a heating and air conditioning repairman is genuinely fulfilling.
