When I was having indoor air quality problems, I never guessed that it could be because of my ductwork.
In fact, I didn’t think about my heating and air conditioning system at all.
I didn’t even consider it as something that could be causing the problem and this was because I never really thought about my HVAC system except for the odd occasion when it broke down. I decided to just buy a couple of air filters and figured that would be enough, but the filters that I bought were cheap and they didn’t do much to help my indoor air quality so I knew that I was going to need something stronger if I wanted to take care of this problem once before. I really didn’t know where to start so I decided to do some research and I found out that I could get a good quality air filter from a local heating and cooling business. So I visited the one nearest to me and picked up a HEPA filter. Once the HEPA filter was installed I noticed there was a huge improvement but it still wasn’t fixed entirely. Before I had been having allergies and I was still having them now and I couldn’t help to feel some bad indoor air quality and some places as a house. So I decided to dig deeper and I scheduled an appointment with my seat company because I had a hunch that it might have been my air ducts or the cause. When the heating and cooling guy came out he took a look at my air ducts and told me that was indeed the problem, your ducks were dirty and they would need to be cleaned once the air ducts were cleaned. I didn’t have any further issues with my indoor air quality.
