Furnace repair is the result of neglected repair

The worker who completed the job told myself and others that all of the problems could have been avoided with seasonal tune-up in the fall

Wintertide arrived especially early this year; Every one of us needed to beginning up the oil furnace by the end of October, then i noticed that there was the smell of burning lint coming from the vents. I assumed that it was the idea burning off the dust & slight debris that had built up on the components over the Springtime & summer. I should have busy an appointment with a local Heating & Air Conditioning contractor to have the heating system worked on. Instead, I got busy & neglected the oil furnace… The abrupt drop in temperature & snow accumulation created a wonderful deal of work. Because the condo felt a bit chilly, I turned up the thermostat many times. I didn’t realize that my spouse was also turning up the thermostat. There was apparently not enough boiling air flowing from the vents to keep up with demand, but our biweekly energy bills were significantly higher than expected. Our oil furnace eventually quit over the holidays in December… At that point, the outdoor temperature was down to twelve below zero; With blizzard conditions, it was especially hard to find an Heating & Air Conditioning contractor willing to come to the condo & perform a repair. Every one of us had to spend money extra fees for overtime services. The repair bill included many upgradement parts & was big. The worker who completed the job told myself and others that all of the problems could have been avoided with seasonal tune-up in the fall. I have now enrolled into a repair program with the Heating & Air Conditioning dealer. They will call & remind myself and others when it’s time to schedule service. The worker will complete a thorough problemshooting, testing, cleaning & make necessary adjustments to ensure the reliability of the oil furnace.
