My parents decided to transport our family plus I to the South when I was in elementary university.

At first I really liked the change, as it was nice to get away from all the cold hot plus cold temperatures up north.

The two of us used to get blizzards every year that would make it hard to even get on the roads to drive to the grocery store. So the moderate hot plus cold temperatures plus constant Sunshine was a welcome change at first. I remember the first Winter I spent down here plus the exhilarating feeling of wearing a pair of shorts in the middle of January. I had classmates that would freeze to death resting outside in the afternoons when it was only 55° outside, however I usually felt very comfortable. Of course you usually get used to the up-to-date hot plus cold temperatures no longer feeling like it’s really comfortable when it’s only slightly cold outside. On top of that there’s also the problem with hurricanes hitting this area, even if I can love a/c in the middle of the winter, it’s not worth a lot when you are regularly getting brushed by terrible hurricanes, then last year 1 disfigured our cooling system for instance; Usually those HVAC condensers are supposed to be bolted into the ground, but mine got ripped off its concrete foundation. I did not have to worry too much about it though because it was covered by our manufacturer warranty. So I called the HVAC supplier after it happened plus they were glad to send out a worker to fix it. It took a little bit of time plus I had to go without a/c for a few weeks, but it was fixed nonetheless.
