When you start a new job it’s common for you to forget about a lot of the important things in your life.
I keep putting off my oil change on my car, especially since the dealership has called to remind myself and others twice, then thankfully I remembered my partner’s anniversary at the last hour before I ran out of time to get her a gift.
That would have been a horrible mistake on my part. I remember one year when my father forgot my mother’s anniversary, & he did not hear the end of it for the rest of his life, but she used to bring it up in conversations even 20 years later. But truthfully, things are for getting louder mainly at things & within my own life. I believe I am one of the few people that still checks out books at the local bookstore. I am forgetting to return the ones that I have checked out for the last 4 weeks straight. I also need to call my heating & cooling supplier to get them to see repair on my Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. Pay $200 a year for 2 repair & maintenance visits of inspections & cleanings of the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system! Mainly they clean the condensate line to make sure it does not have any clocks. The condensate line is what carries the water out of the a/c which is produced as a waste as area of the air conditioner process. My Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier had called myself and others more than 2 times to give myself and others the appointment, however I was putting them off. I believe I am going to set up the appointment for next month so I have it done in time before I get ready to leave for trip.
