My parents decided to move our family in addition to I to the South when I was in elementary school. At first I entirely liked the change, as it was nice to get away from all the frosty temperatures up north. The two of us used to get blizzards every year that would make it strenuous to even get on the roads to drive to the grocery store. I had classmates that would freeze to death kneeling outside in the mornings when it was only 55° outside, but I usually felt certainly comfortable. Of course you usually get used to the new temperatures no longer feeling like it’s entirely comfortable when it’s only slightly frosty outside. On top of that there is also the complication with hurricanes hitting this area, and even if I can prefer a/c in the middle of the winter, it’s not worth a lot when you are consistently getting brushed by terrible hurricanes! Last year a single destructiond our air conditioner for instance, usually those Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C condensers are supposed to be bolted into the ground, however mine got ripped off its concrete foundation. I did not have to worry too much about it though because it was covered by our manufacturer warranty. So I called the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C contractor after it happened in addition to they were glad to send out a serviceman to repair it. It took a little bit of time in addition to I had to go without a/c for a few weeks, however it was fixed nonetheless.
