For instance, I installed an air purification system at the white house for important visiting dignitaries.
They get very excited about the places the job takes us. However, several weeks ago, we got a job request from one of the public mortuaries. My team of young HVAC technicians got to experience installing an air purification device and integrating it into a smart HVAC unit. In all the years working in the whole-home air purification industry, I had never been called to work at a mortuary. I saw work as work and was in no way scared about rendering air purification help to our customers. We got to the morgue after 2 pm and immediately started with duct cleaning to clear out the vents and promote airflow. We then changed the air filters and put in new and clean ones. This process significantly increased indoor air quality. With summer coming up, it would be hot and create a good working environment for the mortuary staff. They would need HVAC equipment to provide high air quality. There were a few staff that day, and when we were done working, we showed them how to use the new unit. It would benefit them, and operating the unit was a straightforward process. They all had different HVAC devices in their homes and knew most tips to keep the unit functioning optimally. As we drove from the mortuary, we were all in silence. My team still could not believe that we had worked at a morgue. We were all grateful to be alive and well.
