I had to find an electrician to help me with some tasks at the house.
I bought a house and it needed a lot of work.
The flooring was one of the biggest problems. All of the carpet needed to be ripped out and thrown away and the tiles were cracked. We replaced all of the tiles in the kitchen, bathrooms, and dining area. We replaced the carpet as well in the hallway, bedrooms, and living room. After we got the flooring done, I wanted to focus on some electrical tasks. I wanted a couple of ceiling fans hung up in the house and there weren’t any light fixtures in the spots. I needed an electrician to wire the electricity to the middle of the ceiling so I could use the ceiling fans in those rooms. I also needed an electrician to fix the electrical box for the washing machine and dryer. It had some wires that were frayed on the bottom and I did not want to use the electrical box until I had the wires fixed and the Box replaced. I found an electrician that charged me hourly rates for the light tasks. The hourly rate was only a little bit more than a general contractor and I ended up with someone that had the knowledge and expertise that I needed to get all of the jobs done. The certified and licensed electricians spent about half of the day completing the tasks. I got a 90 day warranty on all of the work and the parts. The house is really coming along now.
