I used to go camping with my folks when I was a kid.
The people I was with and I had a large, family sized tent that could fit all of us and it was a ton of fun, but i’m sure my siblings and I had way more fun than my parents could have, however it was one of my number one family memories! Now that I have started a family of my own, I decided to continue my like of camping by investing in a camper, and my beloved partner Cal and I debated on getting a tent like my family always had, however Cal and I wanted to spend the extra money to be more comfortable.
I liked the method of having hot running water, heat and air, and a bathroom! The camper has been worth every nickel because of those 3 luxuries, however especially the heat and air, and our camper is newer, which means our heat and air is electric and it heats and cools the small area with ease. The only downfall I have with the HVAC method in our camper is that it doesn’t keep the temperature at a level, consistent temperature genuinely well. If I turn the gas furnace on and set the temperature to eighty degrees, it will push out a bunch of air that’s 80 degrees for one hour and then stop for hours. In those hours, the temperature drops significantly and the camper will get particularly cold, but because of this, I guess like our camper is freezing for 5 hours then particularly hot for another hour and then it goes back to freezing again. It’s an endless cycle that I can’t quite figure out; Whenever I feel frustrated about the HVAC method in our camper, I remember that I’m not sleeping in a tent and that I should be thankful for any source of heat at all.
