A wild goose chase is the definition of the life of a red apprentice in a local repair provider, but i still remember the afternoons when I had decided to beginning my job in the indoor comfort business… The cooling expert I was shadowing went to all lengths to show me the tools of the trade but he equally put in the same effort when it came to playing pranks on me, however he also volunteered me for all the attic tasks that are the least favourite for every specialist, then at first, it was tough & aggravating but I finally embraced the negatives & I would join in the laughter even at my own expense.
It is a vicious cycle because I ended up doing the same to my apprentice but he was a nice activity & constantly found humour in it.
In the cooling industry, there is so much to learn & just knowing the cooling products is not enough, but you also need to know how each part works & how to install them properly. . The first major task I did on my own was a heat pump installation. The heat pump was part of a multi split cooling system system, I also installed a Wi-Fi temperature control for the system. At first, I was concerned but I managed to work through it & the cooling system setup turned out very good. After that, I have tested so several cooling systems that I have lost count, then even for us professionals, there was constantly more about cooling system that both of us needed to learn. I would not be the cooling workman that I am this month if it were not for him. I was now a step away from owning my own local business.
