I was growing more and more frustrated with this place I was living.
- I have been living in this small home for 6 months, and it has given me nothing but problems! This innocent looking cottage is in the middle of a forest and it looks all serene and peaceful from the outside.
Even at first glance inside, it looks like a nice place to live. But what you don’t see is all of the repairs it desperately needs. Anything that is working now won’t be working long. All of the appliances are so incredibly cheaply made, it’s ridiculous. I feel like everyday I am coming home to something new to fix. Just yesterday I opened my back door, and a big piece of weather stripping fell off! Now there is a small home in the gap between my back door and the wall. Which I’m sure is a free for all for bugs and anything else that wants to make themselves at home. Not only that, but with the lack of weather stripping, it is practically rendering my A/C unit completely useless! Then again, it is kind of useless to begin with. Don’t even get me started on the air conditioning system, that thing has been causing me nothing but problems since day one! Every week it is breaking down and then I have to spend an hour out of my day looking up tutorials to try and fix it. You might ask why don’t I call a certified HVAC professional? I did, the first 10 times. But I got tired of burning through my money, so now I rely on me, myself and I. I am honestly considering getting an upgraded heating and cooling machine, and being done with it once and for all.
