I have never been absolutely know-howable about building or repairing things.
So when I moved into my current home, and it needed repairs, I was calling a whole bunch of odd repairmen over to my house to repair several things. It became almost a daily thing for people to come in and out of my house. However, there is one thing that I completely forgot about, and that is my Heating and A/C system. After I had most of the repairs in the house done, I thought that was it and I could transport on with my life. Meanwhile my air conditioner was working hard in the background to keep my beach house nice and cool, and having a major complication inside. Of course I didn’t notice this until it started showing signs of acting up. One of the first signs was reduced efficiency in cooling my home. My a/c component started having difficulty cooling my home, it felt like there was less air coming out of the Heating and A/C vents. Not only that, however my cooling device earned a mind of its own, and would start turning itself off. I knew well enough that these are complications you don’t ignore, so after a bit of internet surfing, I found a local heating and a/c corporation. The Heating and A/C worker wasn’t able to come out til the next day, so I kept my cooling component off until then. When she finally arrived, she took one look at my a/c device and knew what the issue was. The Heating and A/C filter hadn’t been changed since I moved in, and the Heating and A/C device was about ready to break. Once it was changed, the air conditioning went back to normal.
