As much as I like residing in a wonderful tropical environment, it absolutely comes with its downsides, and people who live in drier environments wouldn’t understand the complications that come with residing in a place with high humidity.
- Although the sights around here are wonderful, the humidity and heat can make it unbearable.
It is at least 70% in humidity when you go outside, and then when you add the heat it becomes borderline unbearable. You might think there is a easy solution to that problem, just go inside, complication solved. Not necessarily, because sometimes, the humidity is so high it can start causing complications indoors as well. Sometime back, I noticed my beach house had a slight musty stink in it. It was all over, and I couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from. I noticed the stink was being carried all throughout the house, so I had my a/c shut off to stop it. I had a hunch of what the issue might be, so I called an air conditioning worker. The air conditioning professional looked inside my HVAC duct, and told myself and others I badly needed duct cleaning. Apparently it was mold and mildew galore in there, and that was causing the exhausting stink as well as posing a health risk. The air conditioning worker did a relaxing task of cleaning it out and once everything was cleared out, the stink disappeared. I could also breathe easier, which was nice. The mold and mildew was caused by high humidity. So while residing in tropical environments can be nice, they absolutely have their downsides.
