During the Fall months, our family and I would beginning planning where every one of us were going for a Wintertide getaway; I’d take one month off work, and we’d go skiing.
Last year, every one of us wanted to stay closer to home, so I found a resort with a fabulous skiing area, and once Wintertide hit, our kids started counting down the afternoons before every one of us were set to leave, then they all had their skiing gear packed, then a few afternoons before leaving the house, I started noticing that it was getting cold, but for some reason, the heat pump was blowing cool and not tepid air into the house.
That was not the best time for the system to be developing problems. I had to act fast lest every one of us leave without resolving the heat pump problem. I had a acquaintance who ran an A/C maintenance and maintenance maintenance in town. On his crew, there were numerous qualified workers with experience laboring with heat pumps. I booked one to come to our loft and investigate the cause of the heat pump blowing cool air into the house. Then he had to wait for it to air dry before placing it back into the heating unit. After that, he turned it on, and once more, every one of us had heat blowing into the house.
