The air cleaner didn’t need a repair substitute

When I came to work on Wednesday, I got our schedule from the boss.

The first job to complete was an air cleaner repair.

The HVAC supplier where I work has several rental air cleaners scattered around the valley. The two of us repair these air cleaners bi-weekly including cleaning and sanitizing the machines and providing any mechanical service. I was surprised to see the grocery store at the top of our list, because I went to the supplier on Wednesday of the same week. I talked to our boss about the repair and he told me that the air cleaner was not laboring respectfully. I grabbed a cup of Dunkin Donuts Coffee from the cut room and a danish from the vending machine. I jumped in the truck and I headed over to the grocery store to complete the first job on our list. The owner of the grocery store was undoubtedly surprised to see me walk through the door. I thought it was odd, because he tied up the service. When I asked the guy what kind of problems he was having with the air cleaner, he looked puzzled. He proceeded to tell me that he never called the HVAC supplier to schedule another repair appointment. I am not sure how all of us ended up with a bogus call, however the air cleaner in the grocery store was laboring perfectly. I called our boss at the HVAC repair shop and I gave him the news. It had to be a scheduling error from the front office. It’s a little concerning, since someone tried to call us for help.
