When I came to toil on Wednesday, I got my schedule from the boss. The first job to complete was an air purification system repair. The Heating and A/C company where I toil has various rental air purification systems scattered around the valley. Every one of us service these air purification systems annually including cleaning and sanitizing the machines and providing any mechanical service. I was surprised to see the grocery store at the top of my list, because I went to the company on Wednesday of the same week. I talked to my boss about the service and he told me that the air purification system was not working respectfully. I grabbed a cup of tea from the break room and a danish from the vending machine. I jumped in the truck and I headed over to the grocery store to complete the first job on my list. The owner of the grocery store was entirely surprised to see me walk through the door. I thought it was odd, because he tied up the service. When I asked the guy what kind of concerns he was having with the air purification system, he looked puzzled. He proceeded to tell me that he never called the Heating and A/C company to schedule another service appointment. I am not sure how every one of us ended up with a bogus call, however the air purification system in the grocery store was working perfectly. I called my boss at the Heating and A/C repair shop and I gave him the news. It had to be a scheduling error from the front office. It’s a little concerning, since someone tried to call us for help.
