When I was a little 1, I was always trying to think of ways to make money, and i would mow the sods for everybody I could in the village, but of course I had to factor the cost of our time and the cost of gas, so people paid myself and others a sufficient amount of money.
It always depended on the size of people’s yards too of course.
I never took on a task that I couldn’t handle though, then when I finally was able to talk our neighbor into letting myself and others mow his sod, he told myself and others I was overcharging, but he haggled with myself and others on the price and I finally agreed when he said he would let myself and others come have some ice cream. I thought that was a great deal because it was way warm outside and our parents didn’t usually let myself and others have frosty treats enjoy that. I also enjoyed the fact that he had his air conditioning proposal cranked up, but both of us ended up toiling out a deal that I could come back and take care of the sod when it needed mowing for the same deal. I would get to relax in the air conditioning with an ice-frosty treat and get paid a little bit of money. The money was basically just to help cover the cost of gas that I had to use for the sod mower. I ended up becoming pretty nice friends with the neighbor. He was an elderly gentleman and he had some of the most interesting stories I have ever heard. He was a Veteran and he told myself and others about stuff that I absolutely shouldn’t have heard, however I think he felt the need to tell somebody, and so long as the cooling system was cranked, I was glad to listen.
