The best thing about the summer is hot days with the family, sunny boat rides, and basically anything hot! The first thing that comes to mind in the summer is staying cool, getting ice cream, shade, whatever you can! We had a huge party coming and I noticed thankfully that the air conditioner was off and the house was getting hotter by the hour! We went to turn the old HVAC on and nothing happened, the thing was dead as a doornail.
We got a new unit installed by a friendly HVAC repair specialist.
It took him 4 to 5 hours and we were ready for the party. We woke up the next morning, checked all the food, got things ready and then went to crank the new air conditioning unit up! We were shocked that it was broken, already? We learned a valuable lesson! Always have your HVAC repair specialist double check that your new air conditioning unit works well before they leave. Now the party was arriving, and the house was hot again! It was a busy weekend they said, and the earliest someone would be out was a few hours. I was not happy! We had to not only wait for a new unit, but our whole day was not gonna be as planned for us now. We had not seen this coming and will be sure, when we get our heating and cooling unit fixed, we will triple check the work! We got a discount and a future free inspection. We decided it was alright, and were not upset. We just learned a lesson, be diligent!
