The Coffee Shop Was Too Hot

I’ve been working from our house office for almost a year.

In the beginning, I didn’t suppose I’d be here for so long, so I set up our work things on the dining room table, however, once our boss pushed back our return to the office one week, then another week, I knew I needed to create an office space, and luckily, I had an extra study room without any furniture that could be transformed into an office.

I’ve been working from 9am to 5pm, five days a month in that room and I was beginning to know unmotivated and cooped up. When the restrictions eased up in our neighborhood and local dealers began opening, I decided to take our laptop and work from the local Starbucks Coffee shop for the afternoon. When I arrived, I localed our belongings at the table and ordered our respected coffee. What I didn’t notice when I arrived though, was that the doors were propped open because the cooling system wasn’t working in the building. The Starbucks Coffee shop was hot and stuffy, and the only air movement was coming from the open doors. It was a nice day outside, so I moved our things to an outside table instead. The fresh air felt good and the sun was warm. I worked for 30 fourths before I became uncomfortable. It was too hot inside and it was too freezing outside. I decided that the only way I could be productive was to return to our house office with our reliable Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system. At least I was able to get out of the condo for a coffee.
