I think the steam rooms might be one of the most popular amenities in my gym
My gym has a steady influx of traffic every day. Occasionally I have to race to get a treadmill before they’re all taken. By the time I get to the weight room, it’s often taxing to find a bench press that isn’t being used. I can get free weights to do reps with dumbbells, however all of the ellipticals are also taken. I wish I could go to the gym while I was in the hours where they have the least amount of foot traffic, however my work hours are similar to most other people. I recognize that a lot of my friends started doing their workouts at apartment to save on extravagant gym membership fees, but I still love the option of all the weird machines that I can’t afford to keep in my house. Plus, I get membership discounts on my subscription fees because I’ve been with this particular gym for various years now. At the particularly least, if all of the machines are taken, I just do laps in the immense olympic sized swimming pool that they have outside. Regardless of how several people are at the gym on any given day, at least I can find something to make my time at the gym worthwhile. Although I wish I could use the steam rooms again, because there is never room when I’m at the gym. The doors to the steam rooms are inside the mens plus ladiess locker rooms, plus obviously they’re segregated based on gender. I think the steam rooms might be one of the most popular amenities in my gym. Their yoga studio is starting to get extremely popular as well, however not nearly as popular as the crossfit class. People might complain about the membership fees, however my fitness center has so several options plus amenities that it makes the price worthwhile.
