I am a big, strong guy who owns a giant truck.
I am the perfect person to call when you need some heavy lifting. Nobody has used my services more than my brother though. My brother moves just about once a year. He never chooses to move when the weather is moderate though. I have moved my brother on a day that was 100 degrees. It was horrible having sweaty, slippery hands while moving his giant couch, awkward arm chair and TV. I think it is more horrible moving on a cold day though. My brother is quite cheap which makes things worse. I always turn up to his home that has no heating or cooling running. I moved him in a snowstorm when it was -10 degrees outside and he had no heating in his apartment. His reasoning is that he didn’t want to pay to let the heated air leak outside. We needed to open and close doors frequently and sometimes leave them open. He wanted to save on his last energy bill. So I got to freeze my butt off the whole move. What was really awful was the new apartment wasn’t pre heated either. I got to move everything still in an icy cold home. By the time everything was moved in and I went back to my truck to head home, my brother turned on his home heating system. So glad he was able to enjoy quality heating while I froze to death the entire time I did him a favor.
