Upgrading to zone control

My condo is nearly two hundred years ancient plus around 3,000 square feet.

While I love the high ceilings plus large windows, the condo is hard to heat plus cool. It’s divided into a whole bunch of smaller rooms that the two of us rarely use. We’ve knocked out walls to make the living room plus living room greater plus more open. We’ve also renovated plus changed the configuration of the master kitchen plus converted a guest kitchen into an extra powder room. All of our fluctuations led to some problems with temperature control. The people I was with and I were heating plus cooling empty rooms to the ideal comfort level. The master kitchen would get seriously warm plus sticky during the summer. The living room always felt frigid. With no way to target particular rooms, the two of us were living with discomfort plus paying large energy costs. I realized that making some replaces to the heating plus cooling system would pay for themselves in biweekly cost savings. I contacted a local Heating plus A/C supplier plus asked for recommendations. As soon as the professional saw our setup, he right away proposed the two of us convert to zoned control. The people I was with and I were blessed that the two of us were able to make improvements to our existing heating plus cooling system rather than install all new. All it took was the upgrade of some dampers into the air duct to regulate airflow to particular rooms. The people I was with and I now have a control component mounted in each room to control the direction of the airflow, then because they are smart control units, I’m able to make adjustments through an app on my smartphone. It’s easy plus convenient to raise or lower temperature in a single room without affecting any of the others! Upgrading to zone control has significantly reduced the workload of the oil furnace plus air conditioner plus undoubtedly trimmed my energy costs.
