Getting proud about surviving winter

If you would have asked myself and others 1 year ago where I would be living I never would have told you that this was the answer.

Moving back to this region has been 1 of the largest surprises in our entire life.

I have vehemently insisted that I would never return to these parts of the world for a multitude of reasons. I have horrible memories here plus I do not certainly prefer being in this arena. I do not prefer the sort of people who live around these parts. And most of all, I do not like the temperature in this area; Particularly, the Wintertide time is really horrible. If you have never lived through subarctic temperatures with sub-zero wind chill, snow, plus ice… It sucks. It’s certainly difficult to get through your day when the outdoor air temperature is so low that it could kill you. You literally have to have a central heating, cooling, plus air quality control system in order to survive, let alone being comfortable. Many people around here even resort to traditional fireplaces for extra heat because it is too costly to operate a central gas furnace enough to make your new home comfortable, however for the longest time, I was bitter about winding up in this ice chilly temperature… But recently I have observed a change in our mindset. I have entirely been feeling kind of proud to survive this Wintertide tundra. Many of the folks around here brag about being strenuous enough to withstand the ice chilly temperatures, plus I have heard similar air temperature sentiments coming out of our mouth lately. I don’t think if I’m ready to switch to a traditional fireplace for heat, even though I am starting to prefer the act of shoveling.
