Workout area has no heating or cooling

I am really fortunate to have a big lanai constructed across the whole back of the house.

The area includes a stone floor and the entirety of the longest stretch of wall is made up of screens.

The lanai offers a lovely view of our yard, gardens and a pretty lake. I like watching ducks, geese, squirrels, kayakers, fishermen and people on boats use the lake. The lanai is the ideal spot for a home gym. I have invested in a small selection of workout equipment, such as a set of free weights, yoga mat, jump rope and resistance bands. Every day, I devote about an hour to my fitness program. There is sufficient room for me to perform a variety of exercises. I usually complete rotations of jumping jacks, mountain climbers, burpees, abdominal crunches, lunges, and squats. I jump rope and even run back and forth. I strive to target all the various muscle groups and promote greater strength, stamina and flexibility. The only problem with the lanai is there is no way to temperature control it. The screens are ideal for welcoming in a fresh breeze when the weather is warm. They make it impossible to operate any type of heater or air conditioning system when the weather is extreme. In the area where I live, it’s not a problem for the majority of the year. I am usually comfortable working out without any kind of temperature control. However, in the peak of summer, it grows incredibly hot and sticky out there. I plug in a box fan, strand directly in front of it and still sweat profusely before I’ve even begun to exert myself. In the middle of winter, the temperature gets down into the low forties. It’s difficult to dress warm enough to enjoy the workout. I’m not happy with attempting to exercise when I’m bundled up in a jacket and gloves.
