I had to go to the doctor last week for them to run some tests, and it was the first time I had been there in almost a year.
I remembered the last time I had been in the doctor’s office, it was freezing cold and the A/C was running the whole time I was in there.
It was the middle of the summer and so I had on shorts and a tank top and sandals. Unfortunately for me, though, the A/C system seemed to be running on overdrive. Of course, that was back in the summer. This time of year, the A/C is the last of my worries. This year, the weather started cooling off much earlier than usual and we already have a foot of snow on the ground. So anyway, when I got to the doctor’s office, I started thinking about the A/C problems from last year. I was thinking about how they probably got the HVAC systems taken care of after all of the issues that they had over the summer. However, when I made my way into the waiting area, I noticed first thing that there was an issue this time, too. Of course, the problem now wasn’t the A/C system. This time, they had the heating blasting so hard in the office that it felt like I was walking right into a furnace instead of a doctor appointment. I guess they are just having all kinds of trouble with the heating and cooling system in their building. I wish they would get it all figured out. You would think that the indoor air quality in a doctor’s office would be really great but that’s not the case with my doctor at all.
