There is more to the gym than a class

My favorite things about the gym are the big pool and the steam rooms

Do you love exercising? Do you know it’s fun to go to the local gym? For me, I have never loved any of that kind of stuff. I have never been a fan of getting hot and sweaty, and I have consistently thought personal trainers were just overpaid gym people who couldn’t make it in the real world. My friend convinced me one time to take some kickboxing classes with her. I reluctantly agreed only when I realized that going to the kickboxing studio was another reason to shop for cute clothes and cover ups for my tight pants and athletic bra. Well, even though my reason for going to kickboxing classes was to get cute new bendy clothes, it turned out that I kind of loved the vibe in the studio and all the stretches and poses. It was the kickboxing classes that inspired me to take a better look at health and wellness. When I did that, I reached out to a local gym to find out about personal training programs, workout classes, and nutritional counseling. I discovered that they not only offer many group training fitness classes, however they also have semi-private fitness training too. My favorite thing about the gym is none of that, though. My favorite things about the gym are the big pool and the steam rooms. After I swam my laps, it was just so nice to go into the locker rooms and head into the steam rooms. For some reason, I just found it so rejuvenating. I am a bit more interested in the health and fitness center nowadays.
