Can’t get my husband to workout

I take excellent care of myself. My health and fitness is a main priority of mine. I’ve been a vegetarian for the last eighteen years and have never liked coffee or smoked. I rarely drink any alcohol and stay away from fast foods, sweets plus unhealthy snacks. I am conscientious about drinking plenty of water and getting the needed amount of sleep. I maintain a really strict schedule that incorporates an hour of physical activity every day. Above and beyond a dedicated workout during which I elevate our heart rate, strength train and practice balance and flexibility, I also ride my bike, take walks, swim and paddleboard on the lake. Because of my diligence efforts, I’m in very good health. I haven’t put on weight, lost energy or needed to alter any of my activities as I’ve gotten older. I haven’t had any reason to see a doctor since my kids were born over thirty years ago. I wish I could convince my husband to take better care of himself. He regularly smokes cigarettes, drinks lots of coffee and constantly eats really unhealthy foods. He sleeps at strange hours and devotes a lot of time sitting in his recliner and watching movies. As we’ve gotten older, he’s gained some weight and frequently complains of aches and soreness. He’s suffered from issues with depression and quite a few injuries. I am concerned about his quality of life in the years ahead. I am determined to remain active and remain fit. I plan to travel, engage in new home improvement projects and play with my grandkids. I don’t want my husband to miss out or be unable to join me.
