I recently bought an apartment complex that needed a lot of work done.
I needed to basically gut every apartment and redo it.
New plumbing, electric and appliances were added. I had to get the place painted and cleaned as well. The apartment also didn’t have any heating. I looked around for commercial heaters and the best I found was a boiler system. I looked at the different kinds of boilers and wasn’t sure what to get. Every HVAC company I talked to pushed something different and a size bigger than I think I needed. I didn’t feel like I could trust them. That is why I am now renting a boiler. The boiler rental business doesn’t care what kind I choose to rent. I can switch out and try a new boiler if I want to. I picked out what I thought would work best and a size I think I need. We now will see if I chose wisely. There are a number of perks with a boiler system too. You can add heated flooring to it, make it a snowmelt system or combine it with your water tank to make for instant hot water. There are a lot of functions that I am not ready to handle. Right now my focus is to find the right kind of boiler and proper size for my apartment complex. After that, then I think I will get fancy with trying to see what my boiler can do. Once I have everything all planned out, I then will be ready to make the step and get a permanent fixture in there.
