Using portable chiller to cool our worksite

For the past three weeks, my co-workers & I have been working on a construction project downtown. The new office building will house 150 offices & conference rooms. At the moment, we are putting up drywall in the building. The building is 7 stories tall & the group of us are only a few floors through the replacement job. That building hasn’t been outfitted with a Heating & Air Conditioning device yet, so the group of us have been using a portable chiller to cool the building. It’s 95 degrees outside & the humidity is 100%. It’s truly impossible to focus on labor with such high heat & humidity. My co-workers & I would not be able to labor well with the hot temperatures if the group of us did not have a portable chiller. The foreman on this job rented a 500-ton portable chiller. It arrived on the back of a semi truck. The portable chiller is locked inside a fenced area right next to the building. There are immense tubes running from the water cooled chiller to the building. The immense tubes distribute air through the building. In order to save time & currency, the group of us only cool a single floor of the building at a time. All of the tubes are blowing chilly air into the third floor right now. All of us are halfway done with the drywall on that particular floor. Thursday, the group of us will transfer the portable chiller tubes to the fourth floor. That space will be perfectly cool while the group of us labor on completing the drywall. The portable chiller supplies plenty of cool air & comfort while all of us labor & the job gets done more speedily when my coworkers & I are comfortable on the worksite.
