I can find so many ways to save money.
- Normally, I am all about doing just that.
As long as it is legal and ethical, I am into saving money anywhere and way that I can. This is true for most all of us right? Recent economic events have forced me to be just that much more aware of my spending. I have yet to have to dip into our savings. But, it looks as though I will be as I have learned that my HVAC unit needs a fairly significant repair. The HVAC tech told us that we have to have something done inside the HVAC air handler or risk seriously damaging the entire HVAC system. It’s not a matter of months that I have to deal with this HVAC issue. This repair has to happen in a matter of weeks. Due to our finances and the economic downturn, I started thinking about alternatives to having the HVAC pros take care of the repair. I found out exactly what had to be done and looked it up on the internet. There was even a video. However, I watched about 2 minutes of that video and chucked the idea that maybe I could do it. Then, I thought about a buddy of mine who has a handy man that can do just about everything. But again, after just a minute or two of consideration, I knew that was a giant disaster waiting to happen. It was clear that whether or not I had to use some of our savings, the HVAC repair was getting done the right way, the professional way.
