Being sick is one of the things I hate worst in this world.
In fact, I am a big old whiner when it comes to being sick.
If it’s a cold or even the flu, I carry on like a total wimp. I’m too hot or too cold and forever messing with the HVAC to name but one thing I carry on about. I’m ashamed to admit this but it is the complete truth of the matter. My wife just hates in whenever I’m sick and I can’t say as I blame her one bit. A couple of years back, I found myself picking up every little thing that was going around. I just could not seem to stay healthy at all. My doctor was convinced that there was something that was suppressing my immune health. During our conversation, he actually asked me when the last time I had the HVAC ducts cleaned. And he wanted to know if I used HEPA type air filters for the HVAC. I told him no on the air filter and that the ductwork had never been cleaned as far as I could remember. He told me to start there. So when I got home, I called the HVAC people to see if they cleaned ducts. They didn’t but set me up with a company who did. Then, I went to the store and purchased a HEPA type air filter for the HVAC. Once the air ducts were cleaned and the new air filter was in. I could tell an immediate difference in the air. Not much later, I found that the colds and stuff that would hang on forever were now a thing of the past.
