My sedan has lasted me for 10 years of solid use.

I purchased it used from a classifieds listing with just 72,000 miles on it.

Now that automobile has over 200,000 miles on it, however its days are numbered. I have had to repair the power steering, the radiator, the fuel injection system, & recently the transmission. Even after I’ve made a round of repairs, I fear the ever possible threat of more mechanical complications that could take the automobile off the road. At a particular point the repairs start costing more than a automobile loan, & at least with a automobile loan you’re toiling towards something. With our car, I’m just prolonging an inevitable death at this point. Worst of all, I live in the far north where our winters get as cold as 20 degrees below zero with even colder wind chills. This sedan’s heating method is starting to fail. I shiver while I’m driving myself to work in the days, especially when the sky is overcast or when it’s snowing & little to no sun is chopping through the clouds. I decided to purchase a current car, however I wanted something with a better oil furnace. With how dire our winters are, I suppose like I’m entitled to a automobile with a nice source of heat. Never before had I ever considered getting a automobile with heated seats, however now I found myself wanting them more than ever. In addition to fan forced heat coming out of the dashboard, the heated seats provide direct radiant comfort to the body. And as a result, the heat emanates into the cottage of the car, making it comfortably overheated in a matter of hours. It’s not going to be cheap, however I suppose getting a automobile with heated seats is currency well spent.
