This week has been absolutely filled with tremendous rain plus thunderstorms.

It’s raining when I get up plus it’s still storming when I drift off to sleep.

The river level has gone up several feet in the past week. It’s a taxing time to work in an outdoor field… Even though most of my work happens to be indoors, there are actually times when I have to be outside doing work. The storms were really bad this day plus it seems as though it was raining harder than the last few days. The rain was falling basically like a sheet of glass plus each bead felt like a pin prick. I was soaked plus drenched with rain by noon every afternoon this week. It was stinging my eyes plus my cheeks. I was particularly working on an outdoor furnace most of the week. I started working on the furnace service on Sunday afternoon. I had to order numerous furnace parts to do the job, so I could not go back until Tuesday morning. It rained constantly plus I had to go back to my property plus change my boots plus clothes during lunch. I was wet from head to toe plus my legs were beginning to chafe. It’s extremely taxing to work in the rain, especially when it’s nippy plus dreary outside. I sincerely wish the rainy season was almost over, but it just started a few weeks back. The people I was with and I have another week of steady rain plus thunder. I do not actually know how some people live in areas where it rains continually. The dark skies make me feel sad plus depressed. I’d rather live anywhere that is sunny plus moderate all the time.
